The prices of private residential properties continued to decrease marginally by 0.7% in 3rd Quarter 2014. Last Quarter, the decline was 1.0%. Prices of private residences has continue to dip marginally in the last four quarter consecutively.

Price decline was observed across all segments of the private residential property market. Prices of non-landed properties in the Core Central Region (CCR) declined by 0.8%, following the 1.5% decrease in the previous quarter. Prices in the Rest of Central Region (RCR) declined by 0.4%, the same rate of decline as in the previous quarter. In Outside Central Region (OCR), prices declined by 0.3%, compared to the 0.9% decline in the previous quarter. Prices of landed properties declined by 1.8%, more than the decrease of 1.7% in the previous quarter.
Rentals of private residential properties fell by 0.8% in 3rd Quarter 2014, more than the 0.6% decline in 2nd Quarter 2014
